Glasgow Fire Department responds to structure fire

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Fire Department responded to a call of a structure fire on Monday.
Units responded to a fire at 307 Frazier Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters forced entry into the home before attempting to put out the fire.
Additional units gained entry to the structure through the back door to perform a search of a possible victim within the structure. Firefighters determined that the structure was empty.
Units were able to extinguish the fire and the ceiling and walls were pulled to determine fire extensions.
The Glasgow Fire Department was assisted at the scene by Barren Metcalfe EMS and Glasgow EPB.
No injuries are reported from fire department personnel or civilians.
The investigation shows that the fire was unintentional and electrical.
