Glasgow fire responds to chemical spill

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Fire Department responded to a chemical spill Friday.
The department responded to a call of a chemical spill in a warehouse at 300 Industrial Drive in Glasgow.
All units responded to the scene with a HAZ-MAT trailer.
Glasgow firefighters identified the chemicals and investigated the risk and potential for exposure outside of the warehouse.
Crews contained the spill and emergency management contacted TPM Group for the cleanup of the scene.
The TPM Group cleared all Glasgow Fire Department engines except one Engine Co., which will remain on the scene until cleanup is completed.
No injuries have been reported.
The Glasgow Fire Department was assisted by Barren County Emergency Management, Barren Metcalfe EMS, Glasgow Street Department and Glasgow Police Department.
