BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A man is facing multiple charges, including drug possession and unlawful transaction with a minor in Bowling Green.

According to a uniform citation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling Wednesday night around 11 p.m. at the Boyce Community Center when they located a black pickup truck under a pavilion.

Deputies say they spoke to the vehicle operator, identified as 31-year-old Robert Nicley, who said he had been at the scene for the last couple of hours with two 16-year-old females.

The uniform citation states Nicley could not hold a conversation and slurred his words, and both teens were “manifestly under the influence.”

Deputies say both teens had fresh tattoos on their arms, which one juvenile later said were done by Nicley.

After a K-9 gave a positive hit on the vehicle, deputies say they found a broken glass pipe with suspected methamphetamine residue, a small, clear bag of suspected marijuana and a THC vape pen.

Nicley later stated he had tried to gain entry into the building to turn on the power and confirmed the pipe that was found in the vehicle contained methamphetamine, authorities say.

Both juveniles were released to one teen’s family member.

Nicley was arrested and transported to the Warren County Detention Center.

He faces charges of second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, third-degree burglary, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
