New Details: One dead, one in critical condition in fatal wreck on Morgantown Road

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Deputies are at the scene of a fatal wreck at the 8900 block of Morgantown Road, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say the wreck involved a single vehicle. Deputies initially reported both occupants of the vehicle have died due to injuries sustained but have since said one was revived while in transport.

According to deputies, the vehicle was traveling toward Morgantown on Morgantown Road.

Deputies say that the vehicle crossed into the opposing lane of traffic, left of the roadway, and struck a tree.

The identities of the victims will be released following next-of-kin notification.
