BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – City of Bowling Green storm debris pick up is set to begin June 10.

Residents should place all vegetative debris near the curb for pick up.

The city asks to not place debris in the street or in drainage ditches or chipped debris at the road. The city says it will not pick up construction debris or bulk waste items.

If you pay a contractor to cut your trees and limbs, city officials say the contractor is responsible for removing that debris, such as large limbs, tree trunks, root balls and other vegetation.

The city says it will only collect debris from the city rights of way.

Follow the city’s website for more information about neighborhood specific timelines. Those will be posted here once a schedule has been established.
