Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 shares road closure report

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Crews are beginning to wrap up cleanup operations for the day in most counties.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 says some counties still have crews out, but those counties who have stopped for the day will resume tomorrow. Most roads that remain closed are due to high water with only a few still closed due to power lines.
Motorists should use caution if traveling Monday and Tuesday. Never attempt to drive through possible high water. Do not move or drive around barricades or road closed signs. Flooded road conditions can rapidly. Crews do to their best to respond as quickly as they can to close or reopen roads.
The following list of road closures is accurate as of 6:05 p.m.:
Allen County
- All state routes have reopened.
Barren County
- KY 63 is closed at mile point 11.5 due to downed power lines.
Edmonson County - KY 655 is closed at mile point 2 due to high water.
Metcalfe County
- KY 640 is closed at mile point 4.5 due downed power lines.
- KY 496 is closed at mile point 1 due to downed power lines.
Monroe County - KY 678 is closed at mile point 8.5 due to high water.
Simpson County
- KY 664 is closed at mile point 0.02 due to high water.
- KY 621 is closed at mile point 6.6 due to high water.
Todd County - U.S. 68 is closed at the intersection with KY 181 due to downed power lines.
Warren County
- KY 2158 Cumberland Trace Road is closed between Cumberland Trace Elementary mile point 2.5 and Cumberland Ridge mile point 1.7 due to down power lines.
- KY 626 is closed at mile point 4.5 due to high water.
