National Weather Service Louisville survey determines EF-1 tornado hit Butler, Warren counties

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The National Weather Service Louisville, Kentucky has confirmed at least one EF-1 tornado hit Butler and northern Warren counties on Sunday, May 26.

According to the damage survey results, the NWS says winds in these areas reached a peak of 110 miles per hour.

The NWS has also confirmed EF-1 tornadoes hit Meade County and Hardin County.

The NWS Louisville’s Facebook page states damage surveys are still possible for Mercer, Barren, Logan, Simpson, Cumberland and Clinton counties.

In addition, the NWS says Grayson County experienced straight-line winds that reached 85 mph.
