Deputies searching for person involved in potential shooting
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says it is working to find and identify a second person in relation to a shooting.
The agency says he may be injured.
He was last seen at the IGA on Nashville Road around noon or 12:30 p.m., deputies say.
Warren County sheriff Brett Hightower said, “We were looking to try to identify some people that were involved in this situation. We have released some things on our Facebook with some pictures of some people that we want to identify. We need to locate, for one, maybe their personal safety, and, two, they may have been a witness to what had transpired earlier today.”
Details regarding the shooting are limited at this time.
One man has already been taken into custody.
South Warren High School and Rockfield Elementary School were on lockout earlier this afternoon following a shooting and hit-and-run near the schools. Both schools have since been out of lockout and resumed normal schedules, school officials say.
News 40 will provide an update as further details are released.
