Bowling Green Fire Department to conduct annual airport drill

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – If you notice Bowling Green firefighters out at the Bowling Green-Woodhurst Airport this week, the department is warning this is only a drill.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, firefighters will complete classroom reviews of runways and taxiways, airport information and drill incidents throughout airport property.

The Bowling Green Fire Department says the classroom portion is at 6 p.m., while the drill is afterewards.

If you hear anything on scanners pertaining to the airport, the department says it will be from training.
