BREAKING: Barren County Sheriff’s Office searching for man that allegedly held woman hostage
BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Barren County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man after authorities say he allegedly held a woman against her will.
According to authorities, deputies responded Friday evening for a domestic incident involving 41-year-old Carlos Tarter and a female victim.
Authorities say the victim stated Tarter held her against her will for two days and assaulted her. Upon arrival to A M Harmon Road, authorities say Tarter had left the scene.
Tarter is believed to be traveling in a silver 2013 Ford Focus license plate KY H1K255.
The vehicle is believed to have damage to the driver’s side door. Tarter is described as 6 feet 6 inches tall and 275 pounds. He has a long beard that was braided when he was last seen.
