Wanted man charged with rape, arrested in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green police arrested a wanted man Thursday who is charged with multiple offenses, including rape.

According to court records, 20-year-old Terron Lamar Hopson was wanted in another county on an active warrant of arrest on indictment, which was issued on April 11.

Court records state Hopson is charged with first-degree rape (incapable of consent/physically helpless), first-degree sodomy (incapable of consent/physically helpless), second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor and second-degree persistent felony offender.

An indictment was filed on April 10, according to court records.

Hopson’s arraignment is scheduled for June 3, 2024 at 9 a.m.
