Bowling Green High School students selected for Governor’s Scholars Program

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Six Bowling Green High School have been selected to participate in the 2024 Governor’s Scholars Program.

According to the Bowling Green Independent School District, Parker Fields, Ali Greenwell, Elijah Kries, Emma Lindsey, Elek Olson and Audrey Wallace will take part in the program.

The program is a five-week long summer residential program on three college campuses, including Centre College, Morehead State University and Murray State University.

The district says students were nominated by their high schools with a statewide selection process, which includes their academic profile, student profile, teacher recommendation, community recommendation and writing entry.
