Franklin IGA supporting students in wreck with donations and bake sale
FRANKLIN, Ky. – At the Price Less IGA in Franklin, one manager is hoping to make a difference for five young Franklin-Simpson High School students who were in a terrible car accident.
Leslie Gregory said with Franklin being such a tightknit community, she just wanted to do whatever she could to help.
She said they’re taking money until Thursday afternoon and will be hosting a bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 19, so any baked good are asked to be brought to the store as well to help support.
Gregory said that she’s hoping to raise money in order to help offset costs associated with food, gas and anything else the families might be in the need of.
Gregory told News 40 German American Bank has set up a donation account as well for the families.
