Bowling Green Fire Department promotes 8 employees for new station

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Fire Department announced it has promoted eight members of its staff ahead of the opening of its eighth fire station.

According to the fire department, these employees will fill new positions at the station, which will be located off of Glasgow Road.

The Bowling Green Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the promotions at its meeting on Tuesday.

These include promotions of captains Esmir Ferizovic and Bryan Kozak and engineers Stephen Estes, Joey Hernandez, Greg Hollis, Travis Keown, Taylor Kiser and Roy Rodgers.

Station 8 will be located near the Kentucky Transpark.
