2 arrested in ongoing massage therapy investigation

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department has arrested two people in an ongoing investigation at two local massage therapy businesses.

Police say they received multiple complaints from surrounding businesses and initiated an investigation into two local businesses claiming to offer massage therapy.

According to police, multiple customers confirmed illegal activity. Bowling Green police say they served search warrants Thursday at New Asian Massage at 1260 U.S. 31-W Bypass and Sun Foot Reflexology at 1901 Russellville Road.

Shuihong Tang, 50, of Bowling Green, and Sun Furong, 51 of Bowling Green are charged with prostitution offenses.

Police say the goal of this ongoing investigation is to “identify and help potential victims of human trafficking.” Police say they expect others to be charged.
