3 dead in Edmonson County, prompting death investigation

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is investigating the death of three people in Edmonson County.

Troopers state they received a call around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday from the Brownsville Police Department for assistance with a suspicious death.

Troopers responded to Carter Street, where they say they located Harold K Hendrick, 56, of Oakland, Carrie H. Canady, 44, of Bowling Green, and William D. Payne, 37, of Bowling Green unresponsive inside of a residence.

They were pronounced dead at the scene by the Edmonson County coroner.

The investigation continues. News 40 will release more information as it becomes available.
