New coffee shop opens in the heart of downtown Cave City
CAVE CITY, Ky. – New life is being brought into Cave City with the opening of Ace Coffee Co. on Friday, March 29.
The name of the business pays homage to its past as the Ace Theater, a heart of downtown through the ’50s.
Now, a new coffee shop will have a chance to pour into the community, a dream in the making since the owner, Leticia Cline, was just 14 years old. That goal was made official with a ribbon cutting on Friday.
“To me, a coffee shop is community,” Cline says. “It’s creativity. It’s networking. It’s a third place where maybe you find what you want to do for the rest of your life. Or maybe you just get away and relax for a moment. And we really wanted to create that space in there, where you feel welcomed.”
The new shop will serve not just coffee but wine, craft beer and food as well.
It serves as a piece of history working to revitalize and inspire a hub in this Kentucky town, one cup at a time.
The new business hosts its grand opening on Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m.
Hours will be Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday and Friday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The shop will be closed on Monday. For more information, click here.
