New signs unveiled for free parking in downtown Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s here to make parking downtown easier.

Parking in downtown Bowling Green is a big topic of discussion in any city, and just last night, Bowling Green made an upgrade to their parking experience. The new signs are all uniform, making it easy to tell where you’re at and how long you can be there.

News 40 spoke to Telia Butler, Bowling Green’s downtown development coordinator, who said it’s been a year long process, but she’s glad that it’s finally here.

According to Butler, the maps are still up online for anyone to check on the city website. This is just another layer to make it easier on citizens to find a spot and hopefully save some money on towing fees.
