WKU Men’s Basketball heads to Indianapolis for NCAA Tournament

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Western Kentucky University is cheering on its men’s basketball team as they head for the NCAA Tournament.

The team will play Marquette on Friday in Indianapolis.

This is the school’s first appearance in March Madness in eleven years, so this send off is anything but a small event for WKU.

The university invited the public to gather on campus Wednesday afternoon to wish the team well.

Repeating a more than decade-old feat, now it’s only forward for the Hilltoppers.

Tip off time for WKU’s first round game is 1 p.m. The game will broadcast on TBS.
