BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Magen Siegrist has been named executive director of the Stuff the Bus Foundation.

The nonprofit organization is dedicated to helping children, teachers, and families in Southern Kentucky.

According to Stuff the Bus, Siegrist has served the last few years on the Board of Directors and has nearly 10 years of nonprofit experience in Bowling Green.

“Magen will be a wonderful asset for the Foundation,” said Kyle Wolz, Stuff the Bus Foundation President of the board of directors. “She has extensive non-profit experience, a passion for the work, and strong community relationships that will help us positively impact more students in Southern Kentucky.”

Since 2005, Stuff the Bus says its mission has been to provide a level playing field for all children in Southern Kentucky. As executive director, Siegrist will create partnerships and relationships with the community. Her responsibilities include working with the Board of Directors to plan, promote and execute the organization’s events, promote awareness, strategic planning and development.

“I am thrilled to work with the Stuff the Bus Board of Directors, our corporate sponsors, the community, and our area schools in this capacity. I love the mission of our organization and am so proud of all those that have contributed to the work over the last twenty years. I look forward to strengthening current relationships and building new ones as we help level the playing field in the classroom for all students,” Siegrist said.

She begins her new position on Feb. 1.

“As we begin our 20th year of creating a level playing field for children thru Southern Kentucky, I couldn’t be more proud to reach this stage of growth in hiring our first Executive Director. Magen’s track record of being a driven community leader is unmatched and I have personally had the chance to work with her at community events for over a decade. The Stuff the Bus Foundation will continue to grow under her leadership of day to day operations,” said Tony Rose, founder of the Stuff the Bus Foundation.
