Orchestra Kentucky plays at the Inauguration
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Orchestra Kentucky is back from the biggest performance in their 25 year history. The group of professional musicians was able to play at the gubernatorial inauguration of Governor Andy Beshear this past Tuesday, December 12.
Director Jeff Reed was very happy with their performance and the ability to play in such a special place, the capitol rotunda in Frankfort, and at such a special occasion. This however, does not mean it didn’t come with its own complications.
“Playing in the Capitol Rotunda is a very different experience for us. It’s a it’s a really glorious place. The acoustics aren’t the best in the world, but just the setting is really inspirational.” Reed said.
