Metcalfe County woman accused of growing two dozen marijuana plants on property
EDMONTON, Ky.- A Metcalfe County woman is under arrest after being accused of growing two dozen large, suspected marijuana plants on her property.
According to the Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded Tuesday to Cedar Top Church Road in the Sulphur Well community for a possible drug overdose.
Once inside the residence, deputies said they located a large amount of processed marijuana, along with several items of drug paraphernalia.
Just outside the residence is where deputies said they found the plants growing.
Kimberly Hollenback was arrested and charged with cultivating marijuana, trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and is being held on a $5,000 bond.
