Animal control responds to abandoned dog report in Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – Logan County animal control is working to save a dog after they say she has been abandoned.

The Logan County Humane Society says it got a call about an abandoned female dog on Thursday. As a result, animal control has been working hard to capture the dog, officials say.

Officials say the dog is being provided with food and water until she can be caught.

The humane society says the dog was left behind after the owners moved from the residence.
