Beshear: Country’s largest investment in high-speed internet to benefit Kentucky

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Fast-connecting broadband internet access is looking more attainable for all Kentuckians.
In today’s Team Kentucky update, Gov. Andy Beshear announced the country’s largest-ever investment in high-speed internet.
The Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment Program aims to help all 50 states, and the governor says third party estimates expect Kentucky to receive between $700 million and $1.3 billion through the federal program. The program’s goal is to allow for affordable high-speed internet access at all households and businesses in the country.
Last June, Beshear announced the largest-ever public sector investment for expanding high-speed internet for thousands of families.
