Simpson County road project to cause lane closures

SIMPSON COUNTY, Ky. – Those traveling through Simpson County may want to plan for future lane closures.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says work has begun on KY 100, as well as West Cedar Street in Simpson County.

Motorists should plan for lane closures between KY 1008 and High Street. However, the road will remain open this week.

A long-term closure is set to begin starting June 12 for rehabilitation of the entire road.
