Natcher Elementary named 1 of 14 Leader in Me Legacy Schools in the world
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One local Warren County Public School joins an elite club.
This morning, Natcher Elementary announced they are the 14th Leader in Me Legacy School in the world.
The program is designed to highlight schools who exhibit innovation and sustained growth and make a distinctive contribution to the program’s community.
A Natcher alumni actually wrote a song that is being used by students at every single Leader in Me school around the world.
The school is very honored to receive this award.
“Now that we’ve established that as our go to, we can now be a model to others that they can come. So that’s what you know, when I think about legacy, you’re leaving a legacy for others to follow, right. So we’ve started something too, where now we’ve empowered others to take this initiative and run with it,” Principal Matt Thornhill says.
Natcher is the first Legacy School in the state of Kentucky and one of ten Leader in Me schools in Warren County.
They now join 5 other schools in the United States as recipients of this illustrious honor.
