Bowling Green Hot Rods sold to New York businessman
The 2018 Midwest League Champion, Bowling Green Hot Rods have been sold.
Major League Baseball has approved the sale, but the papers still haven’t been signed, which is expected to happen Monday.
The new owner is, Jack Blackstock, a New York businessman, who’s been a minority investor for the past few seasons. Blackstock is purchasing the team from Jerry Katzoff.
The Hot Rods will be in Bowling Green until at least 2030.
The price tag on the sale still has not been disclosed.
