Huge community turnout @ 2nd Annual April Fest: 12,000 Easter eggs!
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Warren County Parks and Recreation‘s celebrated their 2nd Annual April Fest over at Ephraim White Park.
This past Saturday, families came out to enjoy food trucks, kite flying, and more. But the big event was, of course, the community-wide Easter egg hunt.
Kids big and small hunted and scavenged around the park collecting over 12,000 candy-filled eggs in under 7 minutes.
Warren County Parks and Recreation’s Leah Spurlin said, “Today has been crazy. It’s been amazing. We’ve had a lot of people come out…. These kids, I think a lot of them came for the egg hunt. And so this is going to be the grand finale of April Fest.”
Judging by the full Easter baskets, it’s safe to say the egg hunt was a huge success.
