BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Mission BBQ opened its doors in our community with a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday.

A performance of the National Anthem from a military veteran kicked off the opening of Bowling Green’s newest barbecue spot.

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce says they’re exited to welcome the restaurant that honors first responders and local heroes.

Proceeds from the restaurant will go to a handful of nonprofits that benefit those who serve, including Wreaths Across America, the USO and the Navy Seal Foundation.

The new restaurant can be found at 2631 Scottsville Road #3216.

According to the restaurant’s website, their hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
