Man accused of plotting murder now behind bars in Warren County
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Smiths Grove man who police say is connected to a murder in Bowling Green is behind bars in the Warren County Regional Jail after being extradited back to the United States from the Philippines.
Antonio Wilson is being held on a $502,000 bond and is charged with murder by conspiracy, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.
Police say Wilson hired another man, Jeffrey Smith, to kill Smajo Miropija. Miropija was found dead at a business in February on Porter Pike in Bowling Green.
Smith is charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence and receiving stolen property – handgun.
