NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CNN) – Songwriter Kyle Jacobs, the husband of singer Kellie Pickler, was found dead inside their Nashville home Friday from an apparent suicide.
Authorities say they received a 911 call at about 1:21 p.m.
According to a police statement, Pickler said she did not see her husband when she woke up shortly before then and began to look for him.
A personal assistant had called 911 after they were unable to open a door to an upstairs bedroom and office.

He and Pickler had also starred in the docu-comedy series “I Love Kellie Pickler,” which ran on CMT for three seasons.
