Local orthodontist to provide discounted braces

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local orthodontist is giving some community members a smile they never thought they could have before.

Lawless Orthodontics has partnered with Smiles Change Lives, a nonprofit that helps children whose families cannot afford the full cost of braces, to help meet needs right here in Warren County.

Already, the practice is expecting around 30 people to show up on Friday to see if they qualify for the discounted braces.

The cost is $650 flat which includes x-rays, retainers, scans and anything else the patient needs for a perfect smile. A typical round of braces would cost thousands of dollars.

Lawless Orthodontics is doing all the work but will receive none of the fee, which, instead, goes to keep the non-profit running.
