Kentucky candidates release statements regarding child porn stream on Facebook account

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One Republican candidate woke up this morning to find a child pornography video streaming on her campaign Facebook page.

Wesley Swafford Deters is the running mate for GOP gubernatorial candidate Eric Deters.

In a statement, Wesley Deters says the public Facebook was hacked this morning and played a 10-minute video of children performing sexual acts.

Wesley Deters says that they are working with the FBI and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to figure out who is responsible.

Eric Deters also released a statement, saying, “On Monday, she began receiving notifications somebody trying to change her Facebook account, hack her account. Just none stop, none stop, and what happened is they grabbed her account, and she woke up this morning to child porn on her account.”

Eric Deters confirms both parties are speaking with the FBI to determine who is behind these streams. We will update as further information is released.
