Logan County man found guilty of charges in murder case

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – A Logan County man is learning just how long he’ll be behind bars after being convicted of a 2015 murder.
On Wednesday, a Logan County jury found Earl Kelly “Tudor” Johnson, 63, of Lewisburg guilty of all charges in connection to the murder of 65-year-old Robert Leslie Wetton.
Wetton was found dead inside of a barn on Ellis Road back in August 2015.
Johnson was accused of paying Wetton and his wife, Pamela, to bring back meth from Arizona.
After officials say the Wettons were caught with drugs, they say that’s when Johnson conspired to kill Wetton.
The jury deliberated less than two hours and convicted Johnson on several charges, including drug trafficking, engaging in organized crime and complicity to murder.
Johnson is the third person to be indicted and the second convicted in Wetton’s murder.
