Bowling Green Police: Woman robbed and pistol-whipped at Lampkin Park

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Police in Bowling Green are looking for the person who pistol-whipped and robbed a woman at a park Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred just after 12 p.m. at Lampkin Park.

According to a Bowling Green Police Department spokesman, the woman was hit in the head with a gun and then robbed. It’s unclear what the suspect got away with.

The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment. Her condition isn’t known at this time.

Police said the suspect left the park in a vehicle and officers are currently searching for the car.
