Man arrested in Glasgow following storage unit burglary

GLASGOW, Ky. – Authorities say a man is facing several charges following a burglary at a storage unit facility in Barren County.

On Sunday, July 24, the Glasgow Police Department responded to Premier Storage Solutions on Trojan Trail in reference to a suspicious person.

According to a release by the GPD, officers located Johnathan Meadows in a storage unit that did not belong to him. Authorities stated the investigation revealed Meadows had also stolen a truck from Booths Construction, along with a chainsaw and additional items.

GPD stated the truck and all stolen items were recovered.

Meadows, 26, was charged with criminal trespassing, second degree, burglary, third degree, possession of burglary tools, criminal mischief, second degree, burglary, third degree, criminal mischief, third degree, burglary, third degree, and theft by unlawful taking or disposition of property of an auto between $10,000 and $1,000,000.

Meadows was lodged in Barren County Detention Center.
