Man found guilty of murder by complicity, sentenced to 35 years

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Antonio Wilson of Smiths Grove has been found guilty of murder by complicity and will serve 35 years in prison.

Wilson had formerly been accused of plotting the murder in 2019.

Wilson was suspected of hiring another man to kill Smajo Miropija, Selma Miropija’s father. Smajo Miropija was found dead at a business in February 2019 on Porter Pike in Bowling Green.

Wilson was arrested August 4, 2019 and charged with murder by conspiracy, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse, among other charges.

Wilson has been found not guilty of tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.
