Fatal car accident in Barren County Saturday

PARK CITY, Ky. – On Saturday, March 5, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Kentucky State Police were requested by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a single vehicle injury collision in Barren County.

Troopers responded to the scene near the area of 1442 Stovall Road.

According to a release, preliminary investigation indicated that Kenzi B. Riggs, 20, of Bonnieville, Ky., was operating a 2008 Ford Focus southbound on Stovall Rd. Riggs’ vehicle exited the right shoulder of the roadway, causing it to overturn.

Kenzi Riggs was flown to Skyline Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. A passenger in the vehicle identified as Isaiah Meredith, 22, of Glasgow, was uninjured in the collision.
