Man and woman accused of unlawfully entering apartment in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A man and woman from Bowling Green are behind bars after authorities say they unlawfully entered an apartment that didn’t belong to them.
According to an arrest citation, Bowling Green police responded to the Hummingbird Apartments early Monday evening in reference to a burglary complaint.
When they arrived, police say they located Mikeal McCathren, 33, and Amy Dodson, 37, inside the apartment. Police say Dodson was hiding under some clothes between a mattress and the wall.
An arrest citation states that a clear plastic bag was located in the kitchen, that police say, was consistent with drug trafficking.
Police say they later located a small glass pipe with suspected methamphetamine residue.
Dodson was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance-third of greater offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree disorderly conduct.
McCathren was charged with first-degree criminal trespass.
The two are lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
