2 injured after crash in Leitchfield

GRAYSON COUNTY, Ky. – Two people were injured in a crash Monday in Leitchfield, according to a report by K105.

The report states Leitchfield police, several fire departments and EMS responded to the collision Monday around 4 p.m. at the intersection of the William Thomason Byway and Wallace Avenue.

According to K105, police say a vehicle was traveling from Wallace Avenue across the four-lane byway to Parkland Manor when it crossed into the path of another vehicle traveling north on the byway.

Two people were injured, including a juvenile, the report states.

Leitchfield Fire Chief Tim Duvall stated the first vehicle’s front passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle, according to K105.
