2 Grayson County students hospitalized after ingesting “form of baby aspirin”

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – Two Grayson County students were transported to an area hospital after ingesting an unknown amount of a form of “baby aspirin.”
According to a release from the Leitchfield Police Department, the SRO assigned to Grayson County Middle School received information from school staff that at least two students had taken an unknown number of pills at the school Tuesday morning.
LPD says two students were treated by school medical staff before being transported to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center.
School staff located the pills and identified them as “a form of baby aspirin,” according to the release.
The release states that officials say the incident “does not meet criteria for criminal action.”
