2 dead in fatal Barren County crash

CAVE CITY, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a fatal crash in Barren County.

KSP Public Affairs Officer Katan Parker tells WNKY News 40 that the crash happened on I-65 north near the 53.2 mile-marker near Cave City.

Parker says troopers responded at approximately 8 am and determined the collision involved a semi-trailor and a passenger car.

Parker says two people are dead.

All three lanes of I-65 northbound are currently closed.
