Storm damages building in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, Ky. – A line of thunderstorms damaged the roof on at least one building in Morgantown Friday evening. According to reports, the building housing Final Finish lost part of its roof.

It is unclear if the damage was caused by straight-line winds from a thunderstorm or if the damage was caused by a tornado. At the time, there were no warnings in effect for the storms as they passed over Morgantown but earlier in the evening, a tornado warning was issued for parts of Todd County and a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for part of Logan county for the same line of storms.

According to Morgantown Mayor Billy Phelps, there were no injuries reported.
