1 woman dead after vehicle-pedestrian crash in Christian County

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash in Christian County.

According to Hopkinsville Fire/EMS, units responded to a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in the 2000 block of Russellville Road at approximately 8:34 pm Tuesday.

HFE says units located an adult female unresponsive at the scene.

Emergency personnel initiated CPR before transporting the victim to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

The victim was later pronounced dead.

The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the crash.
