1 hospitalized following overnight shooting in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An Alvaton woman has been taken to the hospital after a shooting in Bowling Green Tuesday morning.

According to a report, Bowling Green police responded to a shooting around 12:30 a.m. at the 700 block of East 16th Avenue at the clubhouse for the local Sin City Disciples Motorcycle Club.

Police say upon arriving, they located a woman, identified as Tashina Rippy of Alvaton, on the floor. Police say officers began first aid, and Rippy had injuries to her neck and face area.

EMS arrived and provided further treatment before Rippy was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center.

According to police, witnesses say an unknown suspect shot multiple rounds into the building. At least five people were inside as shots entered through the glass and door, police say.

Police say Rippy is in critical condition.

This is an ongoing investigation. Detectives are actively searching for additional witnesses and surveillance.
