1 flown following crash in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department responded to a multi-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon.

According to a social media post by the department, the collision occurred around 3:20 p.m. Thursday on Fort Campbell Boulevard near Jack Miller Boulevard.

One person was scheduled to be flown to Nashville for medical treatment, police say.

All southbound and two northbound lanes of Fort Campbell Boulevard shut down due to the accident. The current status of those lanes has not been released as of 5:36 p.m.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternate route until the roadway is cleared.

The condition of the other individuals involved is unknown at this time, according to police.

This remains an active investigation, and no additional information has been released.
