1 dead, 4 injured after reported shooting in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Lexington Police Department (LPD) is investigating a fatal shooting incident.

According to a social media post from LPD, officers responded to a shots-fired call Saturday evening in the 200 block of Midland Avenue.

When officers arrived, they located five victims. The victims were transported for treatment.

LPD says one of the victims was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The other four victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
