WKU librarian receives national award

Over the weekend, one WKU librarian received the national library service award at the American Library Association’s annual summer conference in New Orleans.

Rosemary Meszaros was given the "Documents of the People Award" for her significant contributions to the university, as well as the community at large. The annual award honors an individual who has encouraged the use of government documents in support of library service.

Meszaros says she feels honored to receive such a prestigious award and will re-shelve her last book in just a few weeks, as she will be officially retiring in August.
