WCSO: Man arrested on DUI charge after nearly hitting pedestrians
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A man is behind bars on several charges after police say he drove while intoxicated.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded Sunday to a possible intoxicated driver that had driven his truck into water. Officials responded to Basil Griffin Park, where they say they determined the driver was “very intoxicated.”
WCSO says the man created a dangerous situation and almost hit some pedestrians while driving.
Damien Lyles, 49, of Nashville, Tennessee was arrested and is in the Warren County Detention Center, where he faces charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol .08 (189A.010(1A), first offense, first-degree wanton endangerment, reckless driving and resisting arrest.
