Warren County resident serves as Lindsey Wilson University student teacher

COLUMBIA, Ky. – A Bowling Green resident is now a Lindsey Wilson student teacher.
According to Lindsey Wilson University, Preston Parks, a physical education and health senior from Bowling Green, was a student teacher this spring at Adair County Primary Center and Russell County High School.
Parks graduated from Lindsey Wilson on May 2 with a bachelor of arts degree in physical education and health, cum laude.
Lindsey Wilson education seniors spend a semester serving as a student teacher at an area school to help them prepare for the profession, according to the university.
“Student teaching is where our future educators transform knowledge into meaningful practice,” said Lindsey Wilson University Director of Education Jennifer Antoniotti-Neal. “The schools and teachers that welcome our students play a vital role in mentoring future teachers. Through these partnerships, our students gain invaluable experience, and our communities benefit from the shared commitment to excellence in education.”
